If your name under settings is grey, this is most likely due to screen time restrictions. Please go to settings>screen time>content and privacy restrictions, and turn those off. And see if you can enter your Apple id settings now

I don’t hv a screen time passcode. I hv 1 failed passcode. I don’t ever remember setting up a screen time passcode. I’m a senior citizen so I don’t hv any restrictions! 🤭 Now I hv 2 failed attempts
