TextEdit on iMac with Ventura 13.5.2 quits repeatedly unexpectedly. there is a Translated Report (Full Report) that I don't understand. The only options are okay or reopen. If I click reopen the same report reopens.

That worked. After following the normal boot, I did press and hold the shift key while launching TextEdit. It did not crash the most recent document stored opened up. Not right away it took 30 to 45 seconds.

Try in Safe Mode. Also, in normal mode, try it on a separate user account. Does it work in those cases?
Please run Etrecheck and post its full report here. Use the "additional text" button and paste the report into the text box.
Following a normal boot, press and hold the shift key while launching TextEdit. This will force it to ignore its last execution state. Then, use the File menu to open recent and see if it does not crash with that document. If it does, I would suspect something about that document as the cause.
I need safe mode how-to. I am assuming I'm using normal mode and yes, TextEdit works using the guest account.
