Can't use Wallet on Apple Watch Ultra because I can't use Code (greyed out)

Hello, just bought a new Apple Watch Ultra and although I installed and set it up with code, the watch doesn't allow me to use code. The respective functions are greyed out. This in turn avoids me to use Wallet on this new watch. This is very much a nuisance, especially since it is such an expensive device and all of the Beta Tests haven't been effective as it seems.

I don't think this is a bug in the Watch software, because we would see almost every user complaining. I have only seen your report, so it is more likely something unique to your Watch Ultra like a conflicting app or setting, maybe a failed installation or corrupted software.


Your post says the watch is brand new, so you should have support available direct from Apple to get you up and running with all functions. Contact Apple Support and speak to a real human! They are usually very helpful and if they can't fix it over the phone or chat they can setup a Genius Bar visit to check the hardware.

Any hint of how to solve this would be greatly appreciated. I believe this is a software glitch and there is nothing that the community can do, actually. But who knows?
