Where can I find female 30-pin to USB C cables to support audio on iPhone 15?

Yes - very frustrating. My 2010 Boxster has a 30 pin cable that connects to the car’s audio system. I used an Apple 30 pin to lightening adapter to connect the car’s 30 pin cable to my iPhone 12. It worked great and I was able to stream music and hear navigation directions through the car’s audio system. But I’ve lost that capability with the iPhone 15. I tried an Apple adapter to connect the lightning cable from the car to the iPhone 15’s usb-c slot, but no audio came through. It seems like a 30 pin to usb-c adapter might do the trick, but I don’t think Apple makes one and the ones on the market don’t seem to be working for people. I’m regretting switching to an iPhone 15.

Can you give links to these products please? Am looking for car functionality ….. an apple mfi certified female to male 30 pin to usb c that works with audio and is not just for charging of data …. usable with iPhone 15 ….. thanks

So glad I found this thread as I thought I was going mad! I have exactly the same issue with an Apple 30 pin in a car i just bought. I’m now thinking about a 30 Pin Bluetooth receiver. There seems to be plenty on the market and it’s just a question of which one would be the right one. Also one with a usb charging port which would need a usb to usbc adapter. I’m no techno geek so these are my layman thoughts so please interject and call me out where I’m being stupid.

Any insight? Still going mad in search of 30pin female to usb-c for my Bose. Would have reconsidered the upgrade sadly it's too late. Please post if good quality option found! Tks!

I have a same problem with Nissan Juke audio that comes genuine original 30pin cable.

when I use 30pin to Lighting and iPhone worked good but when I connected 30pin to Lighting and Lighting to USBc then iPhone15, iPhone said Accessory not Supported.

All adaptors are Apple genuine.

So poor that apple products don’t work by design with other apple products. Funny for Apple to claim sustainability goals and then engineer more land fill!!!

Major bummer- i'm in the same boat. Have been looking for a few days and finally came across this thread just to see that everyone else is just as stumped. Almost makes me want to get rid of my 15

Same here was thinking on upgrading to new iPad pro,but still using Alesis iodock with lightening to 30pin at the moment.

Apple it's time you released the adapter. It's a win win, more people will decide on upgrade and you sell the adapters.

What is the new adapter for, if it doesn’t work with any of these old adapters? Regretting my iPhone 15 purchase!

A 30 pin to Apple 30 pin - Lightning to Apple Lightning - USB C adapter did not work for audio. It charged, but iPhone said Accessory not Supported. Still looking for a solution.

I found on Amazon a 30pin female to Bluetooth adapter around 20 bucks. Seems like the the trick.

Same issue . I used to be able to do 30pin to lightning for my Vaistech adapter in my 2004 Lexus LS430. Now, I tried lightning to usb-c and it won’t transfer data. It will charge.

I read an article about how since Apple had the mfi program it ensured their cables met a certain standard of data transfer/charging/compatibility. However, there is no such standard for usb-c. So, not all cables are created equal.

I will likely just have to upgrade to Bluetooth.

Yes I tried the official Apple cables and they will not work for audio. More designed obsolescence from Apple
