WiFi button off and greyed out

I just bought a refurbished iPhone 12, and it worked perfectly fine when I got it, but the next day, the WiFi button was off and greyed out. I've tried literally everything (shutting down, force restarting, resetting network settings, resetting all settings, updating the software, and wiping the phone), and each of them would work on the first try, but then within 12 hours, the phone would shut down, turn back on, and the WiFi button would go back to being off and greyed out. I have no idea what's wrong, and I don't know if it has to do with the battery and other hardware or the software. Should I go to my Apple store and see what they say? Or just ask for a refund from where I bought the phone and get it sent back?
