An old iPhone, worked fine until I updated to IOS 15.8.3.
Since that - the wifi button is dead.
I have tried to Recover the iPhone through my PC but it didn't help.
Resetting the Network Settings didn't help.
Any thoughts about this problem?

If you are saying that the button to turn Wi-Fi on and off when you tap on Settings > Wi-Fi is grayed out......it is likely that the button to turn Bluetooth on and off is also "grayed out" when you tap Settings > Bluetooth.
If that is the case, the chip that controls both Wi-Fi and Bluetooth has failed and the phone will need service at the Apple Store or an authorized Apple service shop.

Tap your Settings app > Screen Time > Content & Privacy Restrictions > scroll to Allow Changes and turn on.

Bluetooth button works perfectly.
