my tv does not work as I am trying to watch CNBC only to have it spool and shut down. I can't get netflix or amazon to work either

I do not know what is wrong with my Sony TV that has apple tv connected to it. I have been watching everything on it but now nothing will come on. I have tried CNBC, Amazon and Netflix.

None of those will work.

I have my subscriptions paid up and I was just using this tv to watch all of the above last week.

Now nothing works

Apple TV seems to spool for a while and then blank screen.

Update your Apple TV system software to the current version, if not done already. How to update your Apple TV - Apple Support

Try this for any misbehaving app:

Force-quit the app, then relaunch and try again.
If the issue persists, force-quit the app, restart the device, then relaunch and try again.
If the issue still persists, delete the app, re-download and try again.
If the issue still persists after that, then contact the app developer for further assistance.
