Cannot switch Apple Watch faces after 10.0.1 update

I'm sure a lot of people agree with you that it shouldn't have changed. But this is strictly a user to user only forum, and no one here had anything to do with the change. Apple heard from people and reversed course, which on occasion, they have been known to do.

I've never unintentionally changed my watch face with the simple swipe which was the pre-10.2 update. And I tend to change my watch face daily as I change my watch band pretty much daily to match my attire (yes, I redefine OCD but I have like 75 bands now)!

Thanks for your follow up. Just to clarify, I actually “called” Apple Support and was given these instructions about how to change my watch faces. So at the time that I called, it appears that the support rep did not know either, since I did inform support that this happened with their download. I have since gone into my watch settings and made the change. I’m happy 😊 now!

I use this feature constantly to see different data on my watch. As someone who needs reading glasses, I was able to switch faces easily without glasses, during a workout or activity. Poor choice to remove it with this update.

Unfortunately, the interest of those who mistake the x for the y axis while swiping won out over that of those who like to quickly move between watch faces.
