iPhone 15 Pro not charging

I also charge with the old, factory apple 5w charger, using a (third-party) usb-a - usb-c adapter, with the factory apple cable. Sometimes it happens that charging does not start. I have to unplug the charger and plug it back in. Did you have this problem too? Thank you very much for the answer.

thats right it only works with an apple adapter!!!!!! At least they should’ve informed apple users so we don’t loose our minds… love apple but they only focusing on their profit rather than helping their customers charging an arm and leg but can’t provide an adapter!

So we have to use the charging brick to charge it?

asking because the outlets near my bed are basically all USBC, not the standard outlet. Which is weird, because my old phone’s cable (Iphone 13), would charge, but the new one (USB-C to USB-C) won’t.

If that’s the case, I hope in the near future using the bricks isn’t necessary.

I got IPhone 15 pro I used original cab

it charging before but suddenly stopped charging on80% I try different cables and different chargers but it still doesn’t work

but after 30 minutes it started working

Same problem, iPhone15 pro, using the MagSave charger (I was using it for different phones and works perfectly), turning off the phone, put it for charging, and the battery is draining as it is on.

If I charge it without turning off the phone, the charge process works.

Note: My wife got the same iPhone 15 pro like me, and I can see exactly the same issue, is not just my phone, is a bug in the system for this model.

Tried this and it didn't work initially, however it does now work in the wireless charger but only in landscape position. At least its charging. I will try the car wireless later. I think that maybe the battery position in the phone has changed. Any thoughts??

I will share the steps to reproduce the problem so there is not confusion:

1- Put the phone on the charger.

2- Confirm that is charging looking the top icon battery and write a note about the % of the charge.

3- After you confirm that the phone is charging (right position, good connection), turn off the phone (power and volume up buttons pressing together.

4- Wait for around 1 hour.

5- Remove the phone from the charger and turn on the phone pressing the power button.

6- Check the % of battery to confirm the the value increased or decreased (in my case decreased).

Note: in this situation, if the phone auto-turn off because lack of batteries, I am afraid that I will not be able to turn it on again because I cannot charge it when the phone is off, and again, is not me, my wife and others I know they have the same phone, have the same problem, I hope that this helps to target the problem from Apple since the problem can reproduced easily.

i found out my iphone 15 pro wasn't charging when i woke up this morning and it was dead after being plugged into the verizon fast charge brick all night. i tried switching the usb cable with the one for my computer, tried plugging directly into the computer to charge, nothing is working and the phone is dead but discoverable. how do i force a restart on a dead phone or is there another solution? thank you!

Got the same issue here with my iPhone 15 Plus after just a few weeks of usage. All of the sudden just stops charging. I’m travelling and don’t have a wireless charger handy. What a piece of garbage this phone is. Tried all the common “fixes” yet nothing works. Should’ve just stuck with my old phone.

Hi there! Having the same issue with my brand new iPhone 15. What happens if the iPhone won't stay on long enough for me to turn off the battery optimization ? Mine was charging just fine the first couple days I've had it. It even charged up very fast. But today is the 3rd or 4th day I've had it and it just died and I'm using power banks and different ones and different cords that all have power to them because I've tested them on other phones and devices. But it will only say "device is findable" at the bottom. And will only turn on eventually for maybe a second and die again before I can do anything at all with it.

Anker makes lots of different chargers. Which Anker charger didn't work? I have the Anker Nano 20w USB C charger and it charges my iPhone 15 Pro and 15 Pro Max.

You'd have to ask Anker why the 321 didn't work. I have a bunch of Nano 20w chargers and they all work.

Mine charges but very very very slowly. I’m talking hoooours. I’m using the same charger that I used with my old phone that charged things up No problem.
