Apple Watch will not pair to my iPhone 15 pro max

Same issue. My iPhone 15 pro keeps instructing me to bring my watch closer to my phone, regardless of it being next to the phone. It will connect to my bluetooth and then not pair with my device. I tried restarting the watch and pairing as new, but still nothing. It is an older model, but it worked fine with my old phone. Old phone has been unpaired from this device, and the phone refuses to pair.

My Series 7 watch has IOS 10 but it will still not pair with my iPhone 15 Pro Max.

I have disconnected and reset both but it still will not work. Any suggestions?

My Apple phone 15 will not pair with my Apple watch ultra 1

Issue: Apple Watch 8 is unable to link to bluetooth on I phone 15 pro max which also circumvents connection to pair the two devices. I previously had a iphone 11 pro max which crashed and was not backed up due to i cloud storage issues.

I am regretting purchasing this $1k iPhone 15 Pro. I’ve been in IT since 1969. These gadgets are really low quality as far as software. Don’t know which is worse. Design or testing. To be workable and usable. They could be world class, but even my wife who talked me into Apple products 15 years ago, is actually agreeing with me. They don’t play well with anything now. And she has lost too many things even though she backs everything up on iCloud. That last ios release of 17.3.1 she lost most of her data. Apple doesn’t care as long as the $$$ keeps rolling in. Like GoPros, they could be great cameras when they work. Just don’t depend on them for precious moments you want to keep.

Same issue pairing Watch Series 6 with iPhone 15 Pro Max. I couldn't update to Watch OS 10 because there was not a phone connected to accept the T & C. The watch also wouldn't pair with my iPhone 13 Pro Max, iPhone XS or anything else.

Eventually, I erased all content and settings on the watch, restarted the process and I was able to pair and set it up once again. It worked, but was frustrated that a patch or solution wasn't found in the few weeks that the iPhone 15 and iOS 17 has been out. After these 3 weeks of frustration, It appears to be solved.

Exact same for me too. Series 7 iPhone 15. No matter what I try it will not pair. So frustrating

I cannot connect my Apple Watch 8 to my iPhone 15

I was having the same problems with my 15 Plus and Series 6 watch. I reset/erased my watch - turned off my phone and then tried pairing again. It worked.

I am having the same issue. Then it hit me: The watch has to be running Apple Watch OS 10, which mine wasn’t. I can’t upgrade to OS 10 on my old iPhone because it isn’t running iOS 17. I’m upgrading the old phone, which paired with my Apple Watch. I can’t say that this will work because it is in

process, but I bet this is the fix.

Once I get Apple Watch OS 10 on the watch? I’m betting/hoping it pairs with the 15 pro max.
