Ubuntu on a Ppc mac (G3-G4-G5)?

Is it true u can Install Ubuntu on a ppc mac
I didnt know where o post this in the mac forums but i posted it under tiger anyways
Can u install Ubuntu on a ppc mac
if so what Cpu Speed do u need it at and how much ram do u need it at and which Ubuntu Do i need - Eg Ubuntu 10.04 - 9.4 Etc...

This community supported releases are not as reliable as the officially supported releases. Release 6.10 was the last official release.

download the iso.

Macintosh-HD -> Applications -> Utilities -> Terminal
hdiutil burn image.iso

Place cd in drive
power off machine
hold down option key
power on machine.
click on cd
click on right arrow
