Hi everyone. I’ve recently purchased the new iPhone 15 pro max and it is heating up even when I’m not using it.
I was wondering if anyone else is having this issue or if it maybe a setting that is causing it that I can turn off?
Any advice is appreciated. :)

For all of you:
Do a simple Forced Restart on your new iPhone by:
Sign back in with your passcode when the phone prompt you and let the phone settle down over the next couple days. If you transferred a LOT of data, it can days for the indexing process to complete. There is likely NOTHING wrong with your phones.
My 15 pro max is getting hot when I'm using data around 15 to 25 minutes?
Dear Apple, I am having the exact same problem like others. My phone 15 pro is getting over heated while using. Even though I don’t have any heavy use my phone is heating. Please fix

I’ve had mine 1 week and it is so hot to the touch while charging it’s freaking me out.

What does the price of the product have to do with your issue ?
Same just picked up my new phone 15 pro max yesterday and seems to overheat regularly with standard charging and use. So am delaying shipping back my 12 unless am sure this issue is not ongoing.
Why would you be concerned when you just got it and you need several days worth of indexing etc before it settles?
Hi, iv got the 15 pro and 15 pro max and my mx has done this twice and my pro which my son uses does this 5 to 8 times a day. Anyone know what’s causing this?

I just received my iPhone 15 pro & I am also experiencing the increase in temperature. I actually pulled my hand away quickly. What’s the issue & fix’s?
I am experiencing this overheating even after transferring my datas a month ago… this overheating éis a really problematic that apple must fix !
