Apple Watch 4 Flashlight

I updated my Apple Watch 4 yesterday to the latest iOS. The flashlight I depended so much on when using my Apple Watch is now missing. What happened to it?

Hi Redbone08,

To learn how to use the flashlight on your Apple Watch, we recommend that you try the steps here: Use Control Center on Apple Watch - Apple Support

To perform the recommended troubleshooting steps via the link above, complete the steps in the section titled "Use the flashlight on Apple Watch."

Use the flashlight to light a darkened door lock, alert others when you’re out for an evening run, or light nearby objects while preserving your night vision.
* Turn on the flashlight: Press the side button to open Control Center, then tap the Flashlight button. Swipe left to choose a mode—steady white light, flashing white light, or steady red light.
* Adjust the brightness: Turn the Digital Crown up or down.
* Turn off the flashlight: Press the Digital Crown or side button, or swipe down from the top of the watch face.

We recommend the steps above because they will show you how to use the flashlight on Apple Watch.

Please let us know the outcome after giving the above steps a try.

Thanks for using the Apple Support Communities.

Cheers!
