My Apple Cash Account was restricted because my identity could not be verified. When I called support, the information entered into the system matches what I have been entering into the Wallet app to verify my identity. Despite the information matching, my identify was not verified. Is there a way to verify my identity outside of the app since that doesn't appear to be working?

If your identity is unable to be verified, you won't be able to use all of the features of Apple Cash, including sending and receiving money and adding money to your Apple Cash balance.
You can use the money in your Apple Cash account to make purchases with Apple Pay in stores, in apps, and on the web, and you can transfer money to your bank.

Yup, that makes sense. Since I'm unable to verify my Apple Cash account, I can't use it. Ideally I would like to close my Apple Cash account. I am not able to do so because I cannot verify it. If you have any thoughts about how to close my account when I'm unable to verify my account through the app, please let me know.
Apple support have an article online about closing, (or turning off) Apple Cash:

Yeah, unfortunately I have to verify my account in order to close it. It's really annoying that I can't close the account because the app verification system isn't working.
