Enrolling Phone in InTune with Managed Apple ID Breaks Existing AirTags
Personal owned phone, iOS 16.6 (just updated to 17 5 minutes ago, haven't re-tested). I have two AirTags attached to my Apple ID that have been working fine.
We're testing BYOD enrollment at work via InTune using Managed Apple IDs. Whenever I enroll my phone it breaks all connections with my AirTags and eventually they drop off my phone.
If I add an AirTag after enrolling with InTune and remove the MDM profile, it removes the AirTags.
I've searched and can't find anything related to this, and looked through our InTune settings and can't find anything. I've read that AirTags can't be used with Managed Apple IDs, which is fine, but this implementation is breaking existing AirTags when enrolling with our MDM. And when adding an AirTag it's not like I have the option to choose which account it's adding to.
Not sure where to turn to help answer this, we need to resolve this before a full roll-out company-wide.
