Why can’t I use my hotspot on my iPhone to update my Apple Watch?
Just weird how I can’t use my hotspot from my iPhone to update my watch is all I’m saying. I don’t have WiFi at home. I use my hotspot .

Many updates using Apple iPhone hotspot or cell data are restricted. Hotspots are blocked from doing upgrades by Apple policy agreement with cell phone carriers. If you have access to two phones with a hotspot option you can upgrade your watch. I recently disconnected my wifi and switched to hotspots on our phones for all home internet use. This process worked for me to upgrade my watch to 10.1
On the iPhone that is associated with your watch connect to the hotspot of the other phone, iPhone or android. Upgrade with watch app on iPhone.
