NO side swipe Apple watch

Updated both iPhone(13pro) & Apple watch(5) yesterday. Latest iOS in both. Watch swipes up n down just fine but doesn’t swipe left or right, at all. I’ve done a basic forced shutdown(both) and restart, phone first then watch. Still no side swipe.

But Apple has some splainin to do.

Why go from a simple single swipe, to a three gesture move. It’s very cumbersome. 🤨
