In iOS 17, how can phone key pad sounds be turned off?

I just loaded iOS 17 and hate dialing out and hearing the sounds made when I dial the number. How can the iPhone key pad sounds be turned off?

Hi UNCReed,

Thanks for posting! While you can turn some sounds on or off under Settings > Sounds & Haptics > Keyboard Feedback, it does not appear to be possible to disable the keypad sound when dialing: Change iPhone keyboard sounds or haptics - Apple Support

You could disable that sound by turning your ringer volume down, or putting your iPhone into silent mode, but keep in mind this would affect all sounds on your device: Select ringtones and vibrations on iPhone - Apple Support

We always welcome feedback and if you'd like to submit any you can always do so with this link: Product Feedback - Apple

Take care.
