iPhone keypad (for entering phone #)

I know how to turn off the sounds on the keyboard using the Feedback menu on sound and haptics. I want to prevent the noises from happening when I dial a phone number. Is that possible?

Hello robyfromportland,

Thanks for posting in the Apple Support Communities. We're happy to look into this with you.

After researching your inquiry, we've found the only way to prevent the iPhone from playing sounds when entering a phone number, is one of the following:

  1. Turn the volume all the way down. Adjust the volume on iPhone - Apple Support
  2. Place the iPhone in Silent Mode. How to put your iPhone on vibrate, ring, or silent mode - Apple Support

Best regards.
