battery drains so fast while talking on the phone and heats becomes very very warm

I noticed my phone gets hot. But then what's even worse I noticed is that the battery drains so much. I upgraded because my iPhone 11 battery only lasts for a day but then getting this phone didn't make difference: i dont know what to do. Can we get a replacement or everyone has the same issue? I turned always on display off but it's still draining fast
I’ve never used the always on display since it was released with iPhone 14 pro max. Useless feature
I agree with you but I suggest solutions that can alleviate the problem while waiting for iOS 17.x.x.
till when can we expect an iOS update?
can't really exchange it after 14 days of purchase if apple doesn't acknowledge this as an issue, just like the Antennagate

Similar issue. Iphone 15 pro battery dying rapidly after minimal use.
I am having the same issue. I was using the 13 Pro Max and upgraded to the 15 promax and now my phone will not last me a full day of work.
IMO Apple won't fix this... :(

I had problem too. Verizon tech support couldn't fix so they're sending me a new one. Not sure it's much better than 13 Pro Max to me.
Even when disabled there is no remarkable difference.
My iPhone 15 pro max is often warm to Hot and the battery life sucks, why??? My 13 was honestly perfect compared to this one. Very disappointed!!! What should I do?
Another issue I am having with the iPhone 15 pro max is my contact numbers are not functioning. I have to put the numbers in for the call to go thorough, super annoying
