Message app Stickers not working on iPhone 15

This worked for a day. I’ve gone through this twice now. But as a result, all my credit cards disappeared. So this is a very temporary fix that breaks other apps.

When I spoke with Apple, they told me not to sign in and out of iCloud as there are these consequences.

At the time I spoke with Apple help, my stickers were working (it broke again a few hours later), so she couldn’t see the issue.

I just bought my iPhone 15 Pro Max this week, and it forced me to update the software upon turning it on and setting it up. Even with the latest iOS 17.1.2 version, this issue is still broken. I had this issue with my previous phone, a 13 Pro Max. It was an update made some months ago that killed the stickers feature. I used to use stickers in the GIF app too, and it also died with that same update. It's always something.

I have a brand new 15pro max 256gb

with latest software update 17.2

I also have a sticker problem! If a want to create my own stickers with the “+” symbol they shortly appear in an always empty list and disappear immediately again after 1 or 2 seconds , leaving the list empty … So I can create my own stickers but they don’t stay in the list.

I've tried everything I found on the internet.

• hard reboot
• reset all settings
• clear cache
• Log out Apple ID
• turn of iMessage

all the above in all possible different chronological orders…

nothing works!!!

Please help?

it works perfectly fine on my 14pro max also on my 13. So it’s not that I don’t know how to do it ;)

Sorry to hear that didn’t work when you try to open stickers if the bar closes right away does it show any stickers? Mine showed the last sticker pack that I used before it started doing it. Mabe it is a app that comes with a sticker pack I have some games that automatically comes with stickers it might be that too hope that helps

I don’t think these replies are for the issue. It’s not an issue with sticker packs it’s when you create a sticker from a photo that is the issue. Those do not work no matter what you delete. That is what Apple needs to address.

Same here. Worked fine until I upgraded to a iPhone 15PM. Tried every suggestion out there and still not working for me. Contacted Apple before and after 17.3 release. They said they are aware but no suggestions or eta on a fix. Works fine on my iPad and Mac.

For a while now, the stickers do NOT work on iMessage, but they DO work on discord (and GroupMe, slack, etc.). This must be an iMessage problem, which is pretty dumb.

I have posted about this too.. I wonder if apple will make an update to fix this

It’s a temporary fix. I posted about the solution a week ago and it came back each time to all my devices in less than 24 hours. Had to send logs to Apple when I called AppleCare support.

Check emoji apps and keyboards that have the built in stickers.

same exact issue i have. i noticed this happened when i upgraded iphones, the after the restoration process from backup it stopped working on the new phone.

I have the same problem. No stickers. It opens then immediately closes. I never even see the stickers. Rebooting and closing apps does not work. I am not signing out of my apple id as I do not want to setup my wallet again. Apple needs to fix this as it has never worked for me. Did not work on my iphone 13 pro or my 15 pro max.

I have the same issue. I just got my iPhone 15 Pro Max today and it’s exactly the same problem. They work perfectly on my iPad even after updating it to 17.2 today. It’s really annoying looking online and seeing months of complaints with no resolution. There has to be a fix for this.
