Hi Bufferman221,

Here are some possible causes for a change in the appearance of color on your iPhone display:

1) Review the information in Adjust the brightness and color temperature on your iPhone or iPad to ensure that the brightness settings, True Tone and other relevant display features are configured properly.

2) Use Change color on iPhone to make it easier to see items onscreen to determine if any filters, inversion or other related options have been changed or set in such a way to cause this behavior.

3) If you have not already, restart your iPhone by powering it off and back on and then retest.

4) Open an app such as Safari that allows rotation of the screen, view an image and then rotate the device. If the color differentiation does not move, the source of the behavior is likely hardware in the display and may require service. Visit a provider at Find Locations to have the device inspected for options.

5) If the behavior moves when you rotate the screen, check for any available updates and install those. See if you have any apps installed designed to affect how your display is shown.

Regards.

I agree. I have just changed from a Samsung S23 to a 15 Pro and the on-screen colours look washed out and dull.

In comparison, the Samsung offers more adjustments and colours can be made looking the way you choose.

Moreover, Samsung's photo colours seem more accurate and true to life.

I have only switched to the iphone because I got a Macbook Pro M1 but I have to say I am starting to regret this.

I am still within the 14 day return window and probably change back to Samsung.
