Do I notify Apple Card when going to italy

I’m leaving for Italy. I plan to use only my Apple Card. I don’t want purchases to be declined

No, Goldman Sachs uses information your iPhone provides when you do foreign transactions. I suggest you do several small Apple Pay transactions when you arrive. This is especially true if you’ll be attempting a large transaction(s). This gives your iPhone a chance to provide location data and other security information to Goldman Sachs.

If a charge is declined, just remember, a decline is for your safety and protection. Goldman Sachs will immediately text you if a charge is decline at a new location and ask if it was you attempting a transaction. Just reply yes and you can do the transaction again.
