no wifi access after iOS 17.0 download

The wrong iPhone was chosen incorrectly as the choice just showed 2 iPhones but not which model.
I have the above iPhone SE 2020 (2nd Gen). Since downloading the 17.0 software update last Friday I have had no wifi access on my mobile phone. I have wifi access on my Apple laptop MacBook Air so the wifi is only causing a problem on my phone. I have turned the phone off and on about 6 times. I contacted Apple and they rang me back this morning and I reset the Network settings, tried to reconnect the wifi, turned aeroplane mode on and off as suggested by the Apple customer service. Turned phone off and on again, still nothing. Apple apparently rang me back and they got an automated response. I received no phone call and no missed message. Apple then sent an email saying if I needed more help or to re-open the Case, to contact them again. I'm over this. Can anyone help please? Thanks.
