cant update my phone

is iphone storage and icloud storage the same thing? how do i get more iphone storage?

iPhone 11, iOS 16

There is no way to increase the amount of local storage on an iPhone.

The only way to get more local iPhone storage is to select more when you buy the phone. Whatever is built into a particular phone is what it will have for all time.
