Plugged into the cable that came with new phone. And Apple cube. Upon charging the screen blinks on off while beeping every 2 seconds that it is charging.
Hey @jordana128 so I’ve figured it’s to do with the Wattages and not the cable. I got the same 1% blinks/vibrations when charged using a plug/Anker charger above 20W. If use anything below 20W am able to get a smooth charging. Includes both OEM cable that came along with the phone + anker 2m cable that I use.
Probably your car charger not pulling enough power for newer phones. Try a different slot or my fix, using a newer charger plugged into cig lighter.
This has been reported since early October, we are late November with no solution...
Expect a software update sometime right around when iPhone 16 comes out and your phone becomes the old guy.
Moral of the story, NEVER buy a new (Expensive) Apple products. Don't pay your hard earned money to be enrolled as a guinea pig, Buy older (cheaper) models or other brands ;)))
Marcy, I would like to challenge that. It does happen even when I charge the iPhone 15 Pro Max using the USB-C cable shipped with the phone and charging it off Macbook Pro 16" (while the Macbook is in the Apple provided 90 Watt charger).
I am also having this issue. This is the first time I’m charging it (I just got it today). I am using the cable that came with the phone and an Apple block. I can’t sleep with this constant vibration. Very annoying! For me, I can rule out the non apple product theory since both mind are apple. This needs to be fixed! I’m wanting to go back to my old phone so I can sleep!
Ok it’s been doing this for me too one thing iv been doing is getting a white noise app on my phone at night (if you don’t like the noise turn it down) but it really helps to keep the noise of it going off quiet!
I have this problem on my USB-A/USB-C 20w combo block and it keeps charging then not and keeps going till I unplug it. It charges off my pc USB-C port and also on my power strip USB-C didn’t make any sense
This did not work for me. Even if turning off optimization fixed the issue. Ultimately, you will have more wear and tear on your battery requiring you to replace your phone much sooner. This does not sound like a solution.
As someone else mentioned here , I have an iPhone 15 and it seemed to start for me with iOS 17.3 update - this happens with my in-car cigarette lighter charger, which is a certified as USB-C PD port (20W) and then a Belkin USB-C to USB-C - both bought in last month as I thought it was my old in-car charger that I’d had for 3 ish years that was the problem!!
this doesn’t seem to happen on my in-house charger I use a night (thank heavens)- where I use a Juice mains USB-C 20W PD charger and the supplied Apple USB-C cable.
this issue is very annoying - not found a fix yet, but notiys me every 2 seconds that my phone is charging via the Dynamic Island notification.
please, please a fix soon….
I posted at the end of February with this apparently common problem that came up suddenly. I have to let you know that not long after posting it seemed to fix itself. Just so you know, I'm careful, tech and mechanics oriented so I had checked everything. Thought it was the new, non apple charger and cords, the new update etc, etc. Suddenly I plugged it in with the new cord and presto! It was fine since early March. Go figure.
im trying to charge my new iPhone 15 . When using my charger block with usbc cable , supplied with the iPhone 15, it doesn’t charge. It’s blinking but when using usb port, it works.
When I use the same block and cable for others devices, it works.
I have this when my phone (15 Pro) is plugged into my car to charge…. Is it a faulty phone????
