iPhone 15 Pro Battery Drain Issue

I have bought iPhone 15 pro recently. The expectation is battery should be efficient, but is performing poor than iPhone 11. Especially Findmy app is used all night. The battery went down from 55% to 32%. Please help me to fix this?

I've finally found a solution to the battery draining issue that many of us have faced after transitioning to the 15 Pro. Here's what you can do to overcome it. My phone used to drain so rapidly that I had to charge it twice a day.

The root cause of this problem seems to be related to how the backup from the previous model is transferred to the new one. It appears that some apps aren't fully compatible with the 15 Pro.

Here's a step-by-step guide to resolving this:

1- Take your phone to an Apple Store or Genius Bar and explain the issue.

2- They will perform a hard reset on your phone.

3- Only photos and contacts will be restored initially.

4- They might guide you on how to download your apps, but you can also do this through the App Store. Click on your profile (top left) and navigate to 'Purchased Apps' to reinstall them.

5- Allow your phone to charge until it reaches 100%. Please note that the first charge might take longer than usual.

I managed to fix my phone yesterday around 6 pm and charged it to 100%. Twelve hours later, the battery level had dropped to 88%.

P.S. It's advisable not to attempt the reset on your own. The Apple Store has specific software for this purpose and it's not recommended to perform a factory reset through the phone for the iPhone 15 Pro.

Got a new iphone 15 . The phone's battery drops very fast. Even three days after updating.. I have disabled backround app refresh. Uninstalled the 3 apps I had, stopped mail sync, disabled 5g ...and still as soon As I make a call, battery loses 1% every one minute.... Even web browsing drained it.. I contacted the dealer and he said they have to run diagnostics and then send it to apple if there's something wrong... if it was any other company's phone they could replace it but apple has a different policy...they said...

So I'm left without a phone. That is unacceptable for a new phone at this price. Should upload a utube video cause while many people have the same issue no one talks about it there.

So with this battery drain issue. Has anyone tried turning off the “Always on” function? It can be found in the “Display & brightness” settings towards the bottom. Just turned it off on my 15 pro. Hope this helps. I’ll try to remember to update this post.

I have also turned off the “clean energy charging” function as it will slow down charging during peak usage hours,… whenever the heck that is. I just want it to charge like regular whenever I plug it in.🤞

After 2 days struggling with the new IPhone 15 Pro battery drainage issue; from 100% charge to 22% in less than half a day; I returned the phone and went back to my 13 Pro.

Sorry Apple, but I hated the 15 Pro.

Technical support and engineers not able to fix the issue yet, and I can’t wait until they do…..

How do you work with a battery life soooo low that is dead in 8 hours in few use only? DONT BUY THE 15!

BTW, Apple shouldn’t even keep selling a problematic phone until they fix it. Remove it from your stores!

*****SOLVED*****

Turn OFF the “Always On Display”.

1) go to “Settings”

2) “Display & brightness”

3) Then scroll down to “Always On Display”

4) again, “Always On Display” at bottom - turn toggle to OFF.

Since I did this my battery has been lasting all day without worry. I am now at 53% and I have used it a pretty good amount today.

Unfortunatly you don’t get the cool look of having your wallpaper and clock showing 24/7, but I thought it was too bright at night anyway.

You can also limit the frame rate but I chose not to do that after reading some of this thread. If this works for you, please pass this along.

I also have the same issue as everyone else in here. Frustrating to say the least. At first (January '24), the battery on my 15 pro max was performing great, but now (February '24) -I lose about 10% or more per hour while not using and all apps turned off. As another user mentioned, the best performance is with airplane mode on. However, even with airplane mode on, the battery drain is comparable to my iPhone 12 pro (at 83% battery health). There is clearly an issue here. Even more infuriating is that just today I read that Apple is claiming that the iphone 15's has double the promised lifespan. I would like to live in that alternate reality.
