Picked the 41 mm based on internet comparison with the 45mm. Turns out having some difficulty w/o glasses reading the 41mm.
What do I have to do to exchange it for a 45mm?

Apple does not do exchanges. But here is what you can do — Return the 41 mm watch for a refund. Then purchase the one you want.
No restocking fee.
Generally no questions asked.
Tell the Apple Store you want to return it for a refund.

The return has to happen within 14 days after initial purchase. After that you are out of luck, no refund.
Had my new watch 9 two days. It died just two hours before 48 hours from picking it up at the Apple Store. Followed all recommendations to restart or charge. Nothing. Even disappeared from my iPhone. Was told might be a battery issue.
