ios17 Text Replacement disappeared

I was looking for text replacement to add a new one, and it is no longer an option under General - Keyboard. What happened to it? I see posts that prior updates (all the way back to ios13 that this was happening to others, why wouldn’t Apple have this fixed by now?

Any assistance would be great. I hate when I type my sisters name Christy I somehow hit the “o” and it types Chrosty.

Problem with iPhone Text Replacement on Facebook I hope I'm not the only person that's been having this annoying problem for months, but I bet I am since if others were too, I'm sure Apple would have fixed it already. I keep hoping & waiting but I'm tired of waiting. I am a Facebookaholic AND I also have a bunch of Text Replacements setup. My problem is, the Text Replacement feature is constantly, maybe always, automatically adding in the entire Text Replacement after I've only tap typed in the very first letter or 2 of any of my Shortcuts, not the whole thing. As an example, say I have the Shortcut wh that should offer White House at the top of the keyboard that hitting the Spacebar will enter. Problem is, that works here but on the Facebook APP, as soon as I type in wh, say to type "what", it fills in "White House" and the rest of the letters that I type in, it adds after that. What's going on? Am I messed up? 🤔🙄

Text Replacement Failures The text replacement feature seems to fail consistently in even some of the apps built into the OS, like in every field except the Notes field of the Calendar.app. Is there a way to make it always work like in iOS? Paying for some 3rd party text expander and having to recreate the hundreds of text replacements for the computer is unacceptable when the feature already exists and is just being disabled in some situations and apps.

Why has editing on iPhone changed? Why has apple made a change to the way editing of text and messages is done? In the past you could easily insert text between words. Now it highlights the entire adjacent word (s) and the word is either deleted when you go to insert or change a word and/or error. Super annoying apple. Why have you made this annoying change?
