Move ring on Apple Watch going crazy

When I use the Home App on Apple Watch Series 7, It causes the Move ring on my watch to skyrocket to some crazy number in the thousands. The only way I have found to fix it, is to unpair the watch, then pair it again. This fixes it until I use the Home App on the Watch again.

i do need to use the home App on the watch.

Any suggestions, I have closed apps etc, turned phone/watch off and on, only unpairing/pairing watch fixes it.
