Macbook hardshell case

I have been using a hard shell case on my macbook pro for around three years now (from when I bought it brand new) and haven't had any problems. I have recently taken the case off and realised the little marks I thought were dust were actually tiny holes all over the computer. Am I better off to take the case off and just use my computer as it is or leave the case on incase of a drop.

I was also wondering if the case would actually do much in the event of me dropping my laptop.

Any help would be appreciated

Tech support for firmware and software issues ... not hardware. Hardware/physical anomalies requires Apple to be consulted.

You'll get opinions here on non supported topics, But that's all. But an actual fix for user-caused damage is going to be all personal opinions. Not real solutions.

When it comes to hardware problems, Apple must be involved. And problems the user causes are well ... problems the user causes by the decisions made or lack thereof..
