I've changed my Apple ID password but it isn't working for App store

No more details really. It works to log on to Apple.com but won't let me log in to the App store.

iMac 27″, macOS 10.13

Try this: If you can't connect to the App Store, iTunes Store, or other Apple services

If you can't connect to the App Store, iTunes Store, or other Apple services - Apple Support

👉 If you tried all of the above steps and you still can’t connect, contact Apple Support.

They were unable to get it to work either. Next step is to create a boot drive using another Mac and try to update the OS that way.

Thank you Raicya. I've tried to do this, but the Mac I'm using has had to be rolled back to Mavericks to get it to start so none of the installed browsers will work with the Apple website. I've been through those steps on a PC browser, but the App store on the Mac still won't accept the new password. Appreciate your help.
