can't forward emails

Greetings. When I receive an email that I want to share, I can't forward it as it gets kicked back to my phone or mac. The server sends the forward mail to my outbox and says the server does not recognize the address or something to that effect although that address is correct and in my contact list. Any suggestions? Oh! I have all the current updates and I'm currently running 17.0.1 Thanks.

Just to confirm, does this issue only occur when forwarding emails, or are you unable to send new emails as well?


Also, it does appear that there is another iOS update available for your iPhone. Since updating can often bring the latest bug fixes, try updating your iPhone, and test the issue again: Update your iPhone or iPad - Apple Support


If still having issues after updating, or if you're already updated to the latest iOS version, give the steps in these next resources a try that can help troubleshoot the issue further:
