Texting and speech to text auto capping entire words/names

why in ios speech to text keep all capping words/names like for example when I type the name kennedy or speech to text it, it auto corrects to “KENNEDY” it’s really annoying and I tried the whole text replacement that doesn’t work at all.

iPhone 14 Pro Max, iOS 17

While there’s not an option to turn off capitalization, you can say “no caps” at the beginning of your new sentence. See the section “Add punctuation or format text” in this article for more details: Dictate text on iPhone
