Searching photos by date

After updating to iOS 17.0.1, I can no longer search the photos on my iPhone by date. Is there a way to do this now?

iPhone 13 Pro, iOS 17

Hello KB-824,

We see you have issues with searching Photos on your iPhone. You mention having iOS 17.0.1 version installed. The first thing we'd recommend is to fully update your iOS to the latest version, 17.0.2. That will often resolve an issue.

Update your iPhone or iPad

Let your iPhone restart, then test the search again.

I do have the current update, and no, search by date still does not work. Very frustrating.
