Duplicate Songs Created on iPhone When Syncing with iTunes on Windows

I have an iPhone SE and a Windows PC running Windows 11 and iTunes. If I connect my iPhone to my PC with a USB cable and sync it in iTunes, multiple copies of most (but not all) of my songs get created on my iPhone, and I have to go into Apple Music and manually delete thousands of songs. This is not a problem when I buy music in iTunes for Windows, because the music gets transferred to my iPhone automatically over WiFi, without me needing to sync. But if I copy music to iTunes from a CD, I don't see any way to get it to my iPhone without syncing. Can anyone tell me how to EITHER get ripped music to my iPhone without syncing, or, alternatively, sync without duplicates being created?

iPhone SE, iOS 17

See Duplicate songs in iTunes - Apple Community. Sometimes signing out of your Apple ID on the device, syncing, and then signing in again will resolve the duplicates you see on the device.
