Calendar alert vs second alert

When setting Alert and Second Alert times for an event in the calendar, for some reason the alert time that comes first is automatically set to Second Alert. This is ofc not a big problem since you still get two alerts at the times you set, however, it’s not really correct since the Second Alert should come after the Alert. Should be really easy to fix too.

Calendar alerts When I set an alert in calendar, it switches them. For example, if you set the first alert to 1 hour before, then set second alert to 10 minutes before, it switches the first alert to 10 minutes before and the second alert becomes 1 hour before. I can see from previous posts on here that this has been an issue for many years. It’s about time apple fixed it.😡

Calendar alerts Why are calendar alerts backwards? What is the logic that has the second alert happening BEFORE the first alert? First always comes before second, except in the Apple universe where second comes first. Why? It’s always confused the heck out of me and I know I’m not the only one. For the record, I do understand that one is simply called “alert” (not “first alert”) and the other is called “second alert” but still, temporally, one occurs before the other so in no logical sense should it be named “second.” I don’t know where else to ask this or put in the feature recommendation that Apple please use real logic instead of the logic that some software engineer had and that all of us users have had to follow for years as a consequence. Any chance Apple will ever change this?

Repeating calendar notifications I have certain calendar notifications with one single alert at the time of the event and sometimes out of nowhere some of these event alert me like 3 times with about 5 minutes interval regardless of the alert only being for the at the time of event. Any pointers on how to fix this?
