Custom lightbulb color no longer working in iOS 17

I have LED lightbulbs that allow for color customization. Before updating to iOS 17, I could easily change the color in the home app. In the screen that has the dimmer control, it showed several color presets, and the currently-selected color could be tapped again to customize it to any color. Now I just see the presets that previously existed, but I can't change any of them! I can only select between these presets, or use Siri to describe a different color. Is there some new way for changing the presets for color-enabled lights? Or is this a bug that the feature disappeared?
