How to fix volume bouncing back on iPhone control centre after iOS 17 update

When I go into the control centre and pull the volume to max or put it down to mute it will kind of “bounce” back to the volume it was at and I’ll have to adjust the volume a second time, this issue started happening when I updated to iOS 17, I frequently change my volume in the control centre so this really bothers me, is there something that can be done about it or is it a bug that I’ll have to wait for Apple to fix?

I have an iPhone 13 Pro and it happens constantly, but it is not regular. It seems to depend on the volume you start at and perhaps how hard you swipe down. It also bounces back to a volume less than the starting volume. At a very low starting volume with enough swiping speed, you can even get it to double bounce.

So it's probably a feedback bug in something that usually feels quite satisfying.

Obviously an annoying issue that many people are not okay with. People are often trying to quickly lower volume when in public settings, so why in the world would anyone think it's a good idea to make it "bounce" back up on its own? Obviously if I'm trying to lower my volume quickly and harshly, I'm not looking to be entertained by some stupid bounce feature.

But Apple is probably too busy erasing White people from all their ads and website to be bothered with actually caring about their product.

Same here. As of right now I can’t even turn volume to zero. It bounces back to almost zero. It even happens when I use the volume buttons on the side of the phone. So it’s unrelated to the screen swipe/flick whatever you call it. How annoying. I recently switched from Android and so far not impressed with apples speed to resolution of bugs. It’s not solved in 17.3 yet either, but they had time for other adds. How fast is Apple speed to resolution normally?
