Car play with iPhone 15 pro

It says on article, “in this situation or for cars that support only wired CarPlay, use a direct connection with a USB cable.” Just to clarify it means a cable with usb type A to usb type C cable and plugging them to their respective ports and car play should still work? And you won’t need the lighting to usb c adapter?

That means a cable that has (.A) USB-A or USB-C connector on one end, and (B.) the iPhone's pertaining connector on the other end. As an example, you count d use this for an iPhone 15: USB-C to Lightning Adapter - Apple
