Nebula app from the App Store has charged for the free trial.

So i downloaded this app that charged me ₱2990, they were offering a 3 day trial but in the first hour I downloaded I already saw charges on my card.


the subcription also doesnt show up in my apple subscriptions so there is no option to cancel and it looks like im stuck and no way to escape this.


Ive tried emailing them but are very annoying as they don’t give out clear answers or instructions and the emails just go round and round.


anyone experienced the same thing?

I keep getting charged for services I never request. I clicked on an ad to get a free reading and chose to provide a 1.20€ contribution then suddenly I had a deduction of an additional 19.99€ towards some report I never requested. I contacted support and was notified in email that this is a one-time transaction rather than subscription. I thought Ok maybe I made a mistake. Now I’ve just been charged 22.80€ out of no where. I go onto their platform and find that I’m subscribed to some weekly thing I again never requested (and as per their support reply should not be on). Turns out they also automatically subscribe you without notifying you. Been trying to get a refund and they refuse to be held accountable. This is completely unacceptable.

Please, can anybody help me? I want to select request a refund but i cant because i dont have nebula app in my history subscription. Also if i want to report a scam, i also cant do it for the same reason so i cant continue to finish the step and contact apple. Nebula charged me 39 euros. Please help me. Advices are welcome. Thank you very much.

Stay away from asknebula.com! They have deceptive practices that trick you into purchasing their services without your consent. When you try to donate just 1€, they automatically enroll you in a useless service for 49€. When I requested a refund through their form, they never responded. Now, they're charging me 39€ for a monthly plan that I never agreed to. It's clear that they're running a scam, so please be cautious and avoid them at all costs.

There are many ways they will suck you into a subscription. How you cancelled depends on where it was signed up from. You will only be able to cancel on your device if you had downloaded the app and signed up for a subscription from there. This does not seem to be the case for you, since you are having problems cancelling and don't remember getting the app. To verify the Purchase History, go to Settings > [name on top] > Media & Purchases > View Account > Purchase History.


The other ways you may have been trapped by a subscription are from the website, Samsung TV, LG TV, Roku, or Fire TV. With these other methods you will need to cancel on the website. If you have other family members, they may have been the one that fell for the subscription if you payment info is available on the device. Try going to their website and see if there is an account set up when you click the sign in button. If the user ID and Password fills in automatically, you have an account and will need to cancel there.

I originally signed up for this app for the free trial, and it automatically charged me for the annual sub scripting in the amount of $49.99. Don’t waste your time in downloading.


You may want to write a review of that App in the App Store to let other users know of your experience. It would help more users there who were looking to download the app, then those that would see this support thread.

If you have problems unsubscribing (don’t know how, though - just do it via Apple Store as usual), use the live chat on Nebula’s website. Just say you’re using the app and want to cancel. 

If that’s the only thing that stops you from trying the app, that’s just sad. Nebula is fun and helpful, and I haven’t been charged unfairly ONCE. I’ve been using it for months.

I tried to buy the stupid fifty cent natal chart and skip forward. The skip button is either coded so that no matter what you hit it goes directly to “congrats you just signed up and gave us fifty dollars” they didn’t even confirm my **** email.

every response is from some robot ai named Daniel s, and since I was on the web page there is apparently no way to cancel this account?

Eventually I found their email to complain and sent a very strong message about reporting them. I’d already spoken with my bank to see I had been tricked by this app so they had frozen future payments and told me that nebula had signed me up for continuous payments! It’s disgusting frankly and more needs to be done to regulate Internet apps!


They offered me 50% and I sent a stronger message back to which they agreed. I still lost the exchange rate difference of about £5, but better than 50!
