Is it possible to create albums within a shared album?

I’d like to share family videos in a shared album but I can’t see a way to create folders in the shared album or use an alternative method to classify the various videos?

No, albums (shared or regular) cannot contain folders or other albums.

Shared albums remain nearly as primitive as when they originated as Shared Streams of photos and videos. The only structure would be to share several albums to the same group of people, but there are limits to how many albums you can share.

Many thanks for your reply. This is such a shame as shared album’s doesn’t even allow photos or videos to be named correctly either. So for a video, only the icon image gives any clue what the video might contain.

Is there a way to make a request to Apple to allow folders or somehow be able to describe the content? This could revolutionise the sharing of family videos!
