A feature has been added to macOS Sonoma - the onscreen caps lock indicator.
While i am sure this may be useful for some, for me it is not, is there any way to disable it?

This feature is not useful for most users. Some of us use Caps Lock for the following reasons: 1) while playing games, 2) writing code, 3) writing scripts or other documents that will require the function. APPLE PLEASE REMOVE THIS ANNOYING FEATURE AS THIS DOES NOT HELP WHEN THERE IS ALREADY A LIGHT ON THE KEYBOARD!!!!!!!!!

The Product Feedback doesn't appear to have a link to comment on the OS itself, just the OS Server.
This just turns CAPS LOCK off - it didn't permanently stop this icon from appearing, as soon as you turn caps lock on again it comes back - It's a very annoying feature.
Wanted to say thank you for sharing that!! That caps indicator was causing my POPSQL to really lag for some reason. It’s done now and running great. Thanks again
I tried that and it worked. I am just a little worried if that cause any by effect, and how can I retrieve it if I regret?

actually, this is false.
But it won't stay off for very long. It's stupidly designed and really distracting.
