A feature has been added to macOS Sonoma - the onscreen caps lock indicator.
While i am sure this may be useful for some, for me it is not, is there any way to disable it?

This feature is not useful for most users. Some of us use Caps Lock for the following reasons: 1) while playing games, 2) writing code, 3) writing scripts or other documents that will require the function. APPLE PLEASE REMOVE THIS ANNOYING FEATURE AS THIS DOES NOT HELP WHEN THERE IS ALREADY A LIGHT ON THE KEYBOARD!!!!!!!!!

how do I remove it easily? I do NOT want it and its gets in my way since I need caps on all the time???

Work has been very stressful. Answering even repetitive questions is therapeutic.

Perfect. It works right away and only gets rid of the “pop-up icon”: the CAPS LOCK functionality is intact. Thanks — that was indeed annoying
This feature isn't useful for anyone. It should be disabled; it should be removed. We've had a caps lock key for over 100 years, you don't have to tell me when it's on.

never tried that One(1) but definitely can see it working —if One(1)was "fast enough" 4Tru🕊️

but nothing beats the Termianal command sequence that solves it in "Best Answer"

For clarification, the above will only disable the floating "Caps Lock Indicator" not the caps lock key, correct?
