I'm receiving an "Update Payment Information" notification. When I tap it, it wants me to enter an Apple ID password, but is showing my old Apple ID. (I retired and this is an old work phone, I switched to a different Apple ID years ago.) My phone is signed in to my "new" Apple ID, so I don't know why I'm receiving this alert. How do I clear it? Where is it getting this Apple ID from?

You can also go in to update your payment information at the website here: Manage your Apple ID
If you identify the app that was downloaded under your old Apple ID, one way to clear any further messages like that is to delete it and reinstall it downloaded under your current Apple ID.
