if you mean ear pods then you just get the type with the right connector

EarPods (USB-C) - Apple

or

EarPods (Lightning Connector) - Apple

or

EarPods (3.5mm Headphone Plug) - Apple

if you mean airpods then

Use AirPods with iPad - Apple Support
