I began receiving unwanted and unsolicited spam calendar event requests that I cannot seem to delete. I have looked online to get rid of it but the options are not what's on my iPhone such as click on Unsubscribe from that calendar or deleting the spam message. I do not know what to do.

The unsubscribe option does not appear on IOS 17.12. I have a calendar entry/invite for everyday for the next three months that i cannot decline. I decline and it reappears.

While we cannot guarantee that spam will stop coming to your calendar, you can use the steps from the support article that brought you to us to remove spam from your calendar.

"If you see suspicious Calendar events
If you get an unwanted or suspicious calendar invitation in Mail or Calendar, you can report it as Junk in iCloud. If you might have unintentionally subscribed to a spam Calendar, you can delete it."
