My Mac Mini M1 is a TURTLE after upgrading from macOS Ventura to Sonoma, even with a clean install two days ago, just Spotify and Logic Pro.
I seriously regret upgrading, I don't recommend it to anyone, even on the most powerful Mac hardware to date.
Apple Support told me to upgrade to solve a BUG that's been left UNFIXED since a year ago, for which I had to end up opening a Support Case many months ago and consuming a lot of my time. I hate talking to support but I've never been as polite as I've been patiently waiting and following instructions since months ago. But after 3 upgrades and Sonoma, guess what, the BUG I've been waiting to be fixed in Sonoma as Apple Support suggested is still present but now it seems that my new Apple Silicon Mac is not present.
It's killing my stomach. I had to DISABLE the new screen savers, backgrounds and so on, and let the computer settle down to digest the update always on since yesterday. The experience is worse and worse every time, a small step forward, a big leap backwards.
macOS Sonoma is still lagging everywhere, so I guess people will be breaking into the stores when the new Apple hardware is released thinking it would improve their systems response even before the new hardware is released. This is very unfriendly to customers.
I still wonder why my GPU (not CPU) Machine Learning cores usage are always above 50%. I've never seen them that high even playing games (before reinstalling and erasing everything as Mac's are not appropriate for gaming).
