Verification Failure for AppleTV on Roku

This happens more frequently than I like and never a solution that has helped. I finally found one that has worked on all 3 of my Roku TVs. No need to change Apple password, authentication, go to settings or check anything else. Cache needed to be cleared and I was easily able to use both QR Code or remote to sign in to AppleTV app on Roku's. Note: I also have a Sony Bravia and had to clear cache on that TV as well. Only thing that worked.

1. Press HOME button on remote
2. Press HOME again to make sure you are at top of home screen
3. Press HOME button on remote 5 times
4. Press UP button on remote
5. Press REWIND button on remote 2 times
6. Press FAST FORWARD button on remote 2 times
7. Wait about 10-20 seconds for TV to restart
8. Go to AppleTV app and enter credentials
9. You will receive the 6 digit code to enter on other apple device (iphone or ipad)
