My auto fill password not working after updation

When opening the app auto fill password not coming and if coming auto fill option in some app , it’s not working

Password App not automatically popping up When passwords were a part of the Settings, when a website or an app asked for a username/password, an autofill line would appear on the keyboard. The new app does not do that. I have to start the password app and copy and paste items one by one (and every time I switch, it has to unlock). On some sites that it works, it is erratic: one out of 4-5 times it functions right. This is getting pretty frustrating. Is there a way to fix it or do we have to wait for the next releases of iOS and iPasOS?

Passwords app not letting me input own password just takes you to the site instead I want to be able to input the password that I have saved for a website and actually change that without it taking me to its site when clicking on “Change Password…”. It should allow to change a character or whatever in the password, but only takes me to the site when I already did the change password in the app. What am I to do?

New Password App Hey Apple. This new app may be pretty but it’s not very functional. Very cumbersome. Old process was much less complicated. Also, now when the code comes through via text, it can no longer be added by tapping the fill bar. You must remember the code to enter it increases errors. Also, each time a number is entered, one must go back to the keyboard to reset from letters to numbers. Very disappointing. Please revert to the old form til you work out the bugs in the new, pretty, app!

i've had this this problem on my phone & on my desktop - with credit cards and that stuff as well as user names & passwords. it's beyond annoying and defeats the point

Only some of my apps, notably some airline apps, won't grab the pw. Your fix works! Not inconvenient, ez pz. Thank you!

When I am in Safari, or Chrome, the autofill works. It is my applications that do not work. And it is all of the applications that do not work. My bank application, credit card, eBay, Poshmark, Uber, Instacart, Amazon…I will stop there.
